Deep Penetrating Light Therapy ? A Closer Look at This Up-And-Coming Therapy and Industry?

Posted by: Saiful  :  Category: Skin Care

I recently began investigating a new (to me) tool for both pain relief and beauty. This is not in my realm of expertise, but I am learning more about it.

I first heard about this therapy via a customer of mine who asked if I carried a particular device. In the process of my research I learned a lot of interesting things.

One is that the FDA apparently has no problems whatsoever with this type of therapy. In fact, I know of one device that is actually FDA cleared for pain relief. This was a bit shocking and surprising. It must be a very good sign if it could make it made it beyond the watchful scrutiny of the FDA!

When I talked to the manufacturer’s representative for this device, she told me that they are expecting to be cleared for beauty purposes as well. One of the health benefits to deep penetrating light therapy is that it may boost collagen and elastin production. If true, it is plausible to think that such therapy could be capable of making skin look younger and more beautiful.

This could be very good news for women everywhere. In the case of pain relief, it could be good news for both men and women!

Here are some of the other alleged benefits from deep penetrating light therapy:

Stimulate the production of collagen. Collagen is the most common protein found in the body. Collagen is the essential protein used to repair damaged tissue and to replace old tissue. It is the substance that holds cells together and has a high degree of elasticity.

Stimulate fibroblastic activity – Which aids in the repair process. Fibroblasts are present in connective tissue and are capable of forming collagen fibers.

Increase vascularity (circulation). Circulation is increased by increasing the formation of new capillaries, which are additional blood vessels that replace damaged ones. New capillaries speed up the healing process by carrying more oxygen as well as more nutrients needed for and they can also carry more waste products away.

Stimulate the release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the major carrier of energy to all cells. A T P provides the chemical energy that drives the chemical reaction of the cell. It is the body’s fuel!

Increase lymphatic system activity. Edema, which is the swelling or natural splinting process of the body, has two basic components. The first is a liquid part, which can be evacuated by the blood system, and the second is comprised of the proteins, which have to be evacuated by the lymphatic system. Research has shown that the lymph vessel diameter and the flow of the lymph system can be doubled with the use of light therapy.

Increase RNA and DNA synthesis. This helps damaged cells to be replaced more promptly. Reduce the excitability of nervous tissue.

Learn more about this amazing therapy.

One of the most aggravating problems adolescents and adults frequently face is the trouble of pimples or acne, but with a good idea about the way to prevent or reduce the issues, be on the are aware of skincare to avoid zits.

Lots of people frequently get frustrated upon seeing that much- dreaded zit right smack in your face or a cold sore at the corner of your mouth as you wake up one morning, most specially when it appears during an important appointment or meeting about to come about.

Zits occur when the skin pores are blocked with a oil called sebum, which is normally secreted by the skin to lubricate the hair and skin.

Although, there are fashions to prevent, better yet, avoid pimples from occurring or breaking out and here are the majority of the most common yet practical ways to avoid zits or acne from breaking out.

Wash the face twice a day, most especially if you have just been subjected to dust and grime by utilizing a mild soap and warm water.

Ensure to gently rub down the face with circular motions and don’t attempt to scrub, since scrubbing or even overwashing can irritate or damage the skin.

To further prevent zits from coming back, also apply an otc topical ointment or cream with benzoyl peroxide, which will help decrease skin oil and bacteria.

Do not pop or squeeze out the pimple, despite how tempting or irresistible it might appear, since it will only assist cause more damage than good.

Popping a pimple will only tend to drive infected sebum deeper into the pore and result further in redness, puffiness and even worse, scarring. If you feel the need to have it removed, see a skin doctor who can better dispose of it for you without the fear of getting infected or scarred.

Always avoid touching the face with your bare fingers, especially without sanitizing or washing your hands thoroughly, or allowing the face to enter direct contact with objects that would tend to collect sebum from others, like the handset of a telephone or borrowing a facial towel, since it might result in your pimples or acne to turn into more irritated or infected.

If you often wear sunglasses or eyeglasses, ensure to keep it clean day in and day out, most especially parts of the eyewear that touch with the skin, since it could collect sebum that would worsen zits or acne.

For individuals who get acne on parts of their body, make certain to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes that prevent your skin from breathing, therefore further creating further infection. Also avoid wearing scarves, caps, headbands and any item of clothing that would prevent the skin from breathing and may collect oil or dirt.

Always make it an element to remove makeup before going to sleep. Search for makeup products that’re labeled “noncomedogenic” or “nonacnegenic” since these are formulated to prevent pimples. Don’t hesitate to throw away old makeup that smells or looks different from when it was first bought.

Always keep hair clean and clear of making contact with the face to avoid dirt and oil from clogging the pores.

Lastly, look after the skin from the sunlight. Although many believe that a tan can conceal acne, it’s but temporary and might even cause the body to produce extra sebum. Worse, too much exposure to sunshine can increase the chance of getting skin cancer.

Always be on the winning edge in the war against acne and it does not take much to know these points on skincare to prevent zits.

Dry skin face

Posted by: Saiful  :  Category: Skin Care

The cosmetic treatments used for dry skin face differ from one season to another. You’ll have to change the skincare products just as you change wardrobe. While in summer the focus falls on sun protection, in winter, the intensity of the moisturizer is the element that matters most. Dry skin face will often turn flaky because of the low temperatures, the intense winds and the reduced humidity level that deplete the tissues of the natural oily protection that covers our epidermis.

A special care tip for dry face skin is the use of lukewarm water for washing and the avoidance of hot showers or baths. If you still prefer to eliminate the winter chill with a hot bath, at least try not to spend too much time in it. After bathing, don’t forget to apply a moisturizer to keep the skin soft and fresh. Gently massage the dry skin face cream and the body lotion in the tissues, after having tapped it dry with a soft towel. Pay attention to the public hand washers, most of them are detergent-based and will dry the hands skin.

Exfoliation should not be used too often if you have dry skin face. The problem is that you may come across contradictory materials: some will recommend a weekly exfoliation claiming that the moisturizer works best after the treatment, while others warn that the exfoliation more often than once in two weeks aggravates dry skin. We incline to agree with the rarer variant, because dry skin and exfoliation are not exactly 100% compatible.
Then, many people are unaware of the air dryness level in their homes; furnaces usually eliminate the air moisture so that no humidity is left. Not only dry skin face but any type of skin requires a 30% humidity level in order to be comfortable and healthy. Therefore, change the dry environment of your home by investing in a humidifier.

Soaps are the enemies of dry face skin; yet we can’t say any better about certain cleansers. You should choose a product from a good brand preferably one that indicates the moisturizing feature on the package. Another good alternative here is the use of a gentle cleanser that will most surely have a balanced pH close to that of the skin. All in all, lots of things could make a difference for your skin look, and the more you know, the healthier you can become.
